Mike Pride is an American, New York City based drummer/percussionist, composer & improviser, sometimes vocalist, and educator, born on July 7. He is known for the large number of bands he plays with, [2] and has a significant reputation in a multiplicity of musical communities around the world.
Charles Michael Pride (July 31, 1946 – April 24, 2023) was an American author and journalist best known for his long tenure as editor of the Concord Monitor of Concord, New Hampshire. He was the author or co-author of several books on the American Civil War and World War II .

Pride, 76, succumbed to a longstanding blood disorder. Throughout his working life, Pride read voraciously and wrote unceasingly.
