Claudio Roditi (Río de Janeiro, 28 de mayo de 1946-Nueva Jersey, 18 de enero de 2020) [1] [2] fue un trompetista brasileño de jazz. Fue un artista versátil que integró con facilidad elementos del hard bop con ritmos brasileños y jazz latino .

“Rhythms can be percussive and not be aggressive,” reminds the trumpeter. “You can be percussive and laid back. Understanding the various shadings is important.” In the past several years, Roditi has tried to instill such notions in students he interacts with during visits to various colleges.
Claudio Roditi (May 28, 1946 – January 17, 2020) was a Brazilian jazz trumpeter. In 1966 Claudio was named a trumpet finalist at the International Jazz Competition in Vienna, Austria. While in Vienna, Roditi met Art Farmer, one of his idols, and the friendship inspired the younger trumpeter to follow a career in jazz.

17 de jul. de 2010 · Roditi returned to solo on “A Night in Tunisia.” Here he captures not only the romance and magical mystery of the North African destination, but also its complex rhythms. It is easy for him. He is Brasilian, of course. Roditi also features prominently in the triangular conversation at the end of the song.
