Willie “Wild” Sparks was a former drummer for the band Graham Central Station. He has also sung vocals and played drums for other artists, including Sly & The Family Stone and Elton John. [1] Willie Sparks died on May 23, 2020. For a period of 15 years, Sparks was homeless off and on, living in the San Francisco, California area.

24 de may. de 2020 · WILLIE SPARKS, dubbed “Wild Willie”, has died. Drummer Sparks was playing in Oakland band, Hot Chocolate when Larry Graham quit Sly and the Family Stone in 1972. Graham then joined Hot Chocolate and renamed them Graham Central Station.
