1 de ago. de 1999 · What have here is a delightful melding of fusion, rock and southern rock thanks to the sinewy phrasing of guitarist Jimmy Herring and angular slide guitar of Derek Trucks.
I saw the Derek Trucks Band at the legendary Grand Emporium in KC when Derek was just 20, and Susan was on his bus with their first born. The audience knew she was there and chanted "Susan!" over and over until she left the baby with a roadie and came out to sing.

Try the Jazz Is Dead studio album “Laughing Water”. Trucks joins for a few songs, for me Row Jimmy Row and the Here Comes The Sun jams are solid Derek/Jimmy interplay.
