Oakwood is a private, Adventist university located in Huntsville, Alabama. As a historically black college, OU has a strong history of and commitment to the education of black Americans. It is a small institution with an enrollment of 1,305 undergraduate students. Admissions is somewhat competitive as the Oakwood acceptance rate is 68%.
