The Fortunes (Rod Allen, Glen Dale, Barry Pritchard as vocalists, Chris Capaldi as piano player, Gary Fletcher as drummer and Tony Britnell as saxophone player) were formed in 1961 and were resident at Clifton Hall in Rugby, Warwickshire where many 60s rockstars formed their career.

19 de ene. de 2018 · Jigsaw was formed in 1966 by six musicians from Coventry and nearby Rugby. By 1967, the lineup stabilized with singer/keyboardist Clive Scott, guitarist Tony Campbell, bassist Barrie Bernard, drummer Des Dyer, and saxophonists Tony Britnell and Kevin Mahon. They took their name from the Jigsaw Club in Manchester.
Formed as a six-piece in Coventry and Rugby in 1966, Jigsaw's original line-up consisted of Dave "Biffo" Beech (vocals and drums), Clive Scott (keyboards and vocals), Barrie Bernard (bass guitar), Tony Campbell (guitar), Tony Britnell (saxophone) and Kevin "Beppy" Mahon (tenor saxophone).
