Louisa Theodosia Jenkinson, Countess of Liverpool ( née Hervey; February 1767 – 12 June 1821) was a British noblewoman and the first wife of Robert Jenkinson, 2nd Earl of Liverpool, who served as prime minister from 1812 to 1827.
When Jenkinson was finally told officially, initially by a letter from Liverpool, he refused to accept the match, whereupon Liverpool, after consulting with Pitt and Dundas, informed his father that if thwarted in love he would be compelled to give up his Parliamentary career.
She was the wife of Robert Banks Jenkinson, second earl of liverpool, then Viscount, later Lord, Liverpool, who was British prime-minister from 1812 to 1827, following the murder of prime-minister, Spencer Perceval.
