Nicolette Larson (July 17, 1952 – December 16, 1997) was an American singer. She is perhaps best known for her work in the late 1970s with Neil Young and her 1978 hit single of Young's "Lotta Love", which hit No. 1 on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart and No. 8 on the pop singles chart. It was followed by four more adult contemporary hits, two of which were also minor pop hits.
In the Land of Salvation and Sin is the third studio album by U.S. southern-rock band The Georgia Satellites, released in 1989 on Elektra Records. It was produced by Joe Hardy, who had previously produced recordings by ZZ Top and Steve Earle, and who was known for his traditional style.

4 de sept. de 2023 · Hace tiempo que ese poco recomendable amigo no forma parte de mi vida pero, en cambio, la obra maestra de los Georgia Satellites, ‘In the land of salvation of sin’ (1989) todavía sigue a mi lado, como si de algún modo me susurrase que aquel día de agosto tomé la decisión correcta.

On their first two albums they made pulverizing boogie-blues their one-and-only forte, and on their excellent third album they’ve not only kept the faith–they’ve become better at it.
