Loafer is a 1996 Indian Hindi-language masala film directed by David Dhawan and produced by Surinder Kapoor and Boney Kapoor. It stars Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla in pivotal roles. The film was a remake of the Tamil film Velai Kidaichuduchu.
Overview. Ravi Kumar is clearly the black sheep of the Kumar family, and has been so for years. He is unemployed, uncouth, and gets into fist fights and trouble all the time. And then a man is killed, and the evidence points towards Ravi, he gets arrested.

Details. Raja (Varun Tej), raised by his father, is led to believe that his mother is dead, and becomes a thief. He falls in love with Mouni (Disha Patani), who is escaping forced marriage and is shocked when he meets her aunt. Raja comes to know that his mother is not dead as his father told him.
