Ross Friedman (born January 3, 1954), also known as Ross the Boss, is an American guitarist, best known as a founding member of both the punk band the Dictators and the heavy metal band Manowar.

He met Andy Shernoff in 1973 while playing in one of his bands at a house party in his teenage years.
