Refused (also known as the Refused) [2] [3] [4] is a Swedish hardcore punk band originating from Umeå and formed in 1991. Refused is composed of vocalist Dennis Lyxzén, guitarist Kristofer Steen, drummer David Sandström, and bassist Magnus Flagge. Guitarist Jon Brännström was a member from 1994, through reunions, until he was fired in late-2014.
Jon Albin Brännström, född 2 november 1977 i Rätan, Jämtland, är en svensk musiker (gitarrist). [1] 1994-1996 spelade han i bandet Purusam, med vilka han utgav EP-skivan Outbound (1995) och albumet The Way of the Dying Race (1996). [2]

Lyxzén wasn’t exactly making things easy himself, bringing surrealism, Dadaism, and Situationist politics to the table, and the 26-year-old singer was feeling increasingly isolated in his pursuits.
