El disco que apareció en julio de 2001, "End of amnesia", fue un proyecto de grupo llevado a la práctica con la ayuda de varios amigos entre los que se encuentran Adam Selzer (Norfolk + Western), Mike Coykendall (Old Joe Clarks), Jordan Hudson (Operacycle), Deeana Varagona (Lambchop), Bruce Winter y como no, Howe Gelb (Giant Sand).
Duets for Guitars #2 and End of Amnesia (1999–2001) Ward's solo debut, Duet for Guitars #2 , was released by Co-Dependent Records in 1999, then reissued by Howe Gelb 's Ow Om record label in 2000. [3]
Projects. Gelb's approach to music is collaborative and he has recorded with a number of side projects. In a 2004 interview with Gelb, The Guardian wrote "Gelb's way of dealing with it was to treat Giant Sand (not to be confused with his 1970s electro-rock band Giant Sandworms) as a loose, uncompetitive, mutually supportive musical collective, a place for friends to hang out and play.
