Doug Scarratt (Hove; 7 de septiembre de 1959) es un músico y compositor inglés conocido por ser el guitarrista de la banda de heavy metal Saxon, desde 1996 hasta el día de hoy. [1] A los doce años recibió su primera guitarra, que aprendió a tocarla de manera autodidacta.
Doug Scarratt joined the band in 1995. During 1994, Saxon recorded the album Dogs of War. Shortly afterwards, Graham Oliver was fired by the band in 1995. The band replaced Oliver with Doug Scarratt, a longtime friend of drummer Nigel Glockler.

In the band’s long career there have been 21 studio albums and 10 live sets.
