Michael Leonhart (born April 21, 1974) is an American jazz trumpeter and multi-instrumentalist.
Michael Leonhart is a New York-based trumpeter, composer, producer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. In Leonhart’s work, one can hear the fluency in the multiple genres he has deeply immersed himself in over the years.
Michael produced “Many A New Day: Karrin Allyson Sings Rodgers & Hammerstein” which was nominated for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year at the 2016 Grammys. Donald Fagen’s long awaited fourth solo album “ Sunken Condos ,” was produced by Michael and Donald and released in October 2012.
