Brand X were a British jazz fusion band formed in London in 1974. They were active until 1980, followed by a reformation between 1992 and 1999, and were active following a 2016 reunion until 2021. Members have included John Goodsall (guitar), Percy Jones (bass), Robin Lumley (keyboards), and Phil Collins (drums).

Greger. Prog Reviewer. Buckyball's latest and greatest release up to date has to be BRAND X "Trilogy". It's a 3-CD release that consists of Brand X's two 1990's studio albums "Manifest Destiny" and "X communication" together with a previously unreleased live recording, recorded live in New York City, September 27, 1979.
30 de oct. de 2006 · This 3 CD set features two Brand X releases from the 1990's. The first being "X Communication" from 1992, and the second 1996's "Manifest Destiny". Both are great CDs from a stripped-down lineup including Goodsall, Jones and the highly competent drumming of Frank Katz.
Brand X biography Founded in London, England in 1975 - Hiatus from 1980-1992 - Disbanded in 1999 - Reformed in 2016 BRAND X is, no doubt about it, one the most original and well-known British groups of the seventies jazz/rock fusion scene. Made of musicians that are technicians at their respective instruments and that are as inspired as talented.
