Petter Asp, född 1970, är en svensk jurist. Han är sedan 2016 justitieråd i Högsta domstolen. [ 2] Asp avlade juristexamen 1995 och blev 1998 juris doktor vid Uppsala universitet [ 3] samt 1999 docent vid samma lärosäte.

Petter Asp is Professor of Criminal Law at Stockholm University and the present holder of the Torsten and Ragnar Söderberg Chair in Legal Science. He is a member of the European Criminal Policy Initiative (2008–) as well as of the Commission’s expert group on EU criminal policy (2011–).
These will be priorities among his policy initiatives as the ASP 2024 presidential nominee. Peter advocates for workers and local businesses and will create incentives for development of a broad ownership economy. He seeks to preserve farmland and develop more open space initiatives, business co-ops and community enterprises.

About Me. Peter Asp. Violin and piano lessons with me... Started to play the violin at the age of six and from the age of 12 he attended chamber music courses and masterclasses all around Sweden. He played with Swedish Youth Chamber Orchestra from 1986 to 1989.
