Press to Play es el séptimo álbum de estudio en solitario del músico británico Paul McCartney, publicado por la compañía discográfica Parlophone en agosto de 1986. El álbum es el primer trabajo desde Pipes of Peace (1983) integrado en su totalidad por nuevas canciones.

It was McCartney’s first album of entirely new music since Pipes of Peace in 1983, and his first solo album to be issued internationally by EMI following a six-year alliance with Columbia Records in the United States and Canada.
Carlos Alomar (born 7 May 1951) is a Puerto Rican guitarist. He is best known for his work with David Bowie from the mid-1970s to the early 2000s, having played on more Bowie albums than any other musician.

Carlos played arpeggio guitar on ‘Press’, which really pulled the track together. He did a great solo on ‘Good Times Coming’ too… I’d kept in touch with Pete (Townshend) after ‘Rockestra’ and Live Aid. Pete’s actually only on ‘Angry’.
