Peter Martin Christopherson (also known as Sleazy; 27 February 1955 – 25 November 2010) [1] was an English musician, video director, commercial artist, designer and photographer, who was at one time a member of British design agency Hipgnosis.
Peter “Sleazy” Christopherson, who in the ’80s pioneered the industrial aesthetic with the band Throbbing Gristle, died in his sleep at his home in Bangkok on November 24. He was 55.

26 de nov. de 2010 · You couldn’t find a more conservative fellow in the album cover department than Paul McCartney yet, knowing this, Peter presented a picture, beautifully crafted, of a man hanging himself, surrounded in gold leaf, in the style of Gustav Klimt.
27 de nov. de 2014 · After TG, in designing albums for Coil, Christopherson would find an ever-widening range of inspirations for designs to accompany post-industrial music: the oddly magisterial gazebo on Horse Rotorvator, the odd mix of sacred and acid-soaked designs in the Gold Is The Metal/Love’s Secret Domain era.
