Years active: 1976-1978 (as Lucifer ), 1978-1981, 1982, 1984-1998, 2000-2005, 2008-present. Founded in 1976 under the name Lucifer by guitarist/vocals Kevin Heybourne, and was initially comprised of himself, guitarist Rob Downing, drummer Steve Jones, and bassist Barry Clements.
