Jatin Das (born 2 December 1941) is an Indian painter, sculptor and muralist. He is counted amongst the leading contemporary artists of India.

Jatin Das is a painter, sculptor, muralist, print-maker, teacher, cultural expert and recipient of the Padma Bhushan. Born in 1941 in Mayurbhanj, Odisha, he studied at the Sir JJ School of Art in Bombay.
20 de abr. de 2023 · With a career spanning almost six decades, Jatin Das is a well-known painter, muralist, and sculptor who had exhibited his works in many exhibitions in India and abroad. A recipient of the Padma Bhushan (2012), the artist is credited with creating a 7 x 68 ft mural — titled Mohenjo-Daro to Mahatma Gandhi — at the Parliament of India.
Jatin Das was born in 1941 in Mayurbhanj, Orissa. He studied painting at Sir J J School of Art in Mumbai from 1957-62 under Professor SB Palsikar. He is not only one of the most prolific figurative painters, but also a graphic artist, sculptor, muralist and a poet.
