Since opening our first school in 2011, Brighton College International has continued to grow, now overseeing a global portfolio of seven schools. Our strong links with the College ensure that each overseas school is built on the outstanding reputation of Brighton College UK.
History of the College. Founded in 1845 by William Aldwin Soames, Brighton College was the first independent school to be founded in Sussex. Our historic gothic buildings were designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott R and, later, Sir Thomas Graham Jackson RA.
