Benoît Widemann est un claviériste et compositeur français surtout connu pour sa participation au groupe de rock progressif Magma de 1975 à 1981. Outre ses autres apparitions avec d'autres artistes, dont Dan Ar Braz, il est l'auteur de trois albums parus entre 1977 et 1982 .

17 de ene. de 2018 · Benoît Widemann (born 1957) is a French pianist and composer who emerged at age 18 in a mid-1970s lineup of Magma, serving two stints with the band between 1975 and 1981. Under his own name, he released two albums between 1977 and 1979 on Ballon Noir, followed by a third title in 1984 on CY Records.
Benoit WIDEMANN is best known to progressive rock fans for his keyboard work with MAGMA in the 1970's and 1980's. He also has had a fine career on his own playing jazz and fusion. In addition to appearing on an album with violinist Didier LOCKWOOD, he has also released albums with his own fusion group.
