This Is Not a Safe Place is the sixth studio album by English rock band Ride. The album was released on 16 August 2019, the date being announced on 23 April 2019 along with the release of the album's first single, "Future Love". The album is the band's second produced by English DJ Erol Alkan.

16 de ago. de 2019 · Favorite track: Fifteen Minutes. Michael Reilly Ride are still crafting some very cool pop/rock tunes while adding a few new elements to their signature sound. There's a lot to like on this latest release: upbeat alt-rock, catchy melodies, sweet vocals, and some excellent ballads – and it gets better with every listen.
23 de abr. de 2019 · El próximo es la salida de un nuevo disco, This Is Not a Safe Place, con fecha fijada para el 16 de agosto próximo mediante el sello Wichita. El sexto disco de la agrupación fue producido por Erol Alkan y es anticipado por el primer corte “ Future Love “, ya disponible en plataformas.
La vuelta de Ride con “Weather Diaries” supuso un satisfactorio reencuentro con su música de melódicos sonidos psicodélicos, dream pop, jangle pop… Erol Alkan, el productor del anterior álbum, volvió a colaborar con la banda de Andy Bell y Mark Gardener en este “This Is Not a Safe Place”.
