Snow In June is the third major label album by The Northern Pikes released in 1990. It featured three hit singles - "Kiss Me You Fool", "She Ain't Pretty", and "Girl With a Problem". A couple of videos were made for this album, featuring both Garth and Stan playing along. Rumors say either Rick Danko or John Sebastian also turns up in one of the Northern Pikes videos. Some of the songs from Snow in June surfaced again on the 1999 Northern Pikes compilation Hits & Assorted Secrets 1983-1993 .
9 de jun. de 2023 · The record starts as does Snow in June, with the song “Dream Away”. In the 90’s the Pikes introduced the record with a nice guitar lick. On this one it’s fiddle and banjo. I've always been a huge fan of when bands revisit their biggest songs, so this album for me is a real treat.

Sebastian and Roth are joined on the recording by bassist Ira Coleman and drummer Eric Parker, with John’s son Benson Sebastian supplying percussion. Sebastian—who wrote and sang all of the band’s hits from its inception in 1965 until he left in the spring of ’68—and Roth have known each other for some 35 years and their interaction on these classic songs is natural and inspired.
The new album Forest of Love was released by Universal Music on June 7, 2019 and the band debuted the new music with 2 concerts that were filmed at the Blue Frog Studios in White Rock, BC. The Pikes 10th album TIME to TIME released on June 9, 2023 finds the band taking a step back to reflect on and revisit the best-loved tracks from Snow in June.
