The band's reunited lineup features Ackell, Steve Zimmerman, Pete Koeplin, Motohiro Yasue, and Paula Kelley. On August 2, 2023, the band released their first single in 30 years, "Scapa Flow", and announced that their third album Hard Light would be released through Wharf Cat Records on November 3 that year.

14 de sept. de 2023 · Sin embargo, su líder y miembro fundador, Greg Ackell, ya advirtió el pasado 2022 que había conseguido reunir a la banda (prácticamente respetando el elenco original, a excepción del batería Chris Roof, quien ha sido sustituido por Pete Koeplin) y que se venían cositas.
