Hugh Edward "Hughie" Thomasson Jr. (August 13, 1952 – September 9, 2007) was an American guitarist and singer, best known as a founding member of Outlaws. The band found success in the late 1970s and early 1980s with a string of hits.

Fueron formados en 1967 por el guitarrista Hughie Thomasson, el baterista David Dix, el bajista Phil Holmberg, los guitarristas Hobie O'Brien y Frank Guidry y el cantante Herb Pino.
