Trigger Hippy is an American rock band composed of former Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman, bassist Nick Govrik, guitarist/singer Ed Jurdi, and singer Amber Woodhouse. History. The group was initially formed as a casual collaboration between Govrik, Gorman and other Nashville musicians.

Tom Bukovac is a first-call Nashville cat who won five consecutive MusicRow Session Guitarist of the Year awards, while bassist Nick Govrik performed in his former band Highwater and played more recently with singer Mike Farris. “Sure, you can see this as a ‘player’s band,’ but it really is a band, in the true sense of that word,” explains Gorman.
Rounding out the group are lead guitarist Tom Bukovac, who co-produced the record with the band, and bassist Nick Govrik. Trigger Hippy offers 11 tracks of propulsive rock, gritty blues, heart-searing soul, and rich vocal harmonies steeped in roots music.
