The Greatest Story Ever Told is the fifth studio album by American rapper and record producer David Banner. The album was released on July 15, 2008, by Universal Motown and SRC Records. The first single from the album is called "Speaker", better known by its explicit title "9mm". It features Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne and Akon.

On this fifth album, Banner recruits 2008’s biggest names for pop smashes like the snap-inspired, Yung Joc–sampling “Get Like Me” and the posse cut “9MM,” coproduced by Akon (and an effective “tough guys use Auto-Tune too” PSA). But Banner’s political conscience gives the album dimension.
