LMC provides a 10:1 student to teacher ratio. Lon Morris College offers over 30 majors in three divisions of studies. Students can choose from three Associate degrees in Arts, Fine Arts, and Sciences. 98% of LMC graduates transfer to 4-year universities.

29 de jul. de 2014 · The Texas Historical Commission recognized Lon Morris College as the oldest junior college in Texas in 1972 and approved a marker for the campus. Lon Morris is also the only one of the pre-Civil War schools in East Texas still in existence.
