Shrinebuilder was an American stoner/doom metal supergroup consisting of various established musicians, particularly of the doom metal subgenre. Their first and only album, Shrinebuilder, was released in October 2009.

Something of a stoner/doom metal supergroup, Shrinebuilder consists of Scott Weinrich, aka Wino (2) (Saint Vitus, ex-Obsessed, ex-The Hidden Hand) on guitar and vocals, Scott Kelly on guitar and vocals, Al Cisneros (OM (8), Sleep) on bass and vocals, and Dale Crover on drums.

Shrinebuilder is an interesting new project which assembles the various talents of some rather huge figures in the field of drone and doom metal: Al Cisneros (Om, Sleep) on the bass, Dale Crover (Melvins, Fantômas) on the drums, Scott Kelly (Neurosis) and Scott 'Wino' Weinrich (The Obsessed, many others) on the guitars.
