Trash is the eleventh solo studio album by American rock musician Alice Cooper. It was released on July 25, 1989, by Epic Records . The album features the single " Poison ", Cooper's first top ten hit since his single " You and Me " in 1977 and marked a great success in Cooper's musical career, reaching the Top 20 of various album charts and selling more than two million copies.

During the 1980s, Cooper sobered up and collaborated with Kip Winger and Kane Roberts on new material, but this initial return to the music industry was met with a muted response and his popularity remained in considerable decline.
First they enlisted hit songwriter Desmond Child to produce and cowrite tracks; then they got some of the era's biggest names (Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Kip Winger, Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, etc.) to guest on the album.
