Bruce Lambourne Fowler (born July 10, 1947) is an American trombonist and composer. He played trombone on many Frank Zappa records, as well as with Captain Beefheart and in the Fowler Brothers Band.

Hace 6 días · Bruce Fowler (born July 10, 1947), Tom Fowler (June 10, 1951-July 2, 2024) and Walt Fowler (born March 2, 1955) were three bothers who played with Zappa during the 1970s and 1980s. They were the sons of William Fowler (1917 - 2009) and Beatrice Fowler (1921 - 1996).
Despite his indelible influence on music today, jam band fans are rarely able to identify some of the lesser known side musicians of his ensemble, as is often the case with Zappa’s trombonist, Bruce Fowler.
This album, under Bruce's name, has essentially the same musicians as most of the Fowler's albums: four of the five brothers, Bruce (of course), Tom, Walt, and Steve (Ed must have been busy), along with fellow Zappa alumni Albert Wing, Kurt McGettrick and Chester Thompson, plus a few other guests.
