Stewart Armstrong Copeland (born July 16, 1952) is an American musician and composer. He is best known for his work as the drummer of the English rock band the Police from 1977 to 1986, and again from 2007 to 2008.
Fairly wide range, fairly clean mix. Giving feel. Crisp, rich open sound. Full, brilliant chick sound. Bright, assertive hi-hat, great for articulate playing or as an auxiliary hi-hat. Developed in co-operation with the legendary "The Police" drummer Stewart Copeland.
