Every Day I Have the Blues is an album by blues/jazz vocalist Jimmy Rushing with an orchestra arranged and conducted by Oliver Nelson released by the BluesWay label in 1967.
Shirley Scott (March 14, 1934 – March 10, 2002) was an American jazz organist. Her music was noted for its mixture of bebop , blues and gospel elements. She was known by the nickname "Queen of the Organ".
"Every Day I Have the Blues" is a blues song that has been performed in a variety of styles. An early version of the song is attributed to Pinetop Sparks and his brother Milton.
