Through scholarship, education, performance, and in a range of therapeutic and music industry settings, Pacific’s Conservatory creates new music, considers and reconsiders significant histories, and presents works of and about music through live events and emerging media.
We are still accepting applications for fall 2024. All required auditions must be sent via recording to this link. All Conservatory majors, except Music Industry Studies, require an audition. Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an email with instructions on how to schedule your audition.
The Conservatory of Music (COM) is one of eleven schools and colleges at University of the Pacific. It is located on the school’s main campus in Stockton, California . COM is the first accredited professional music school on the west coast and a charter member of the National Association of Schools of Music (1928). [1]
Pacific's Conservatory offers music education, music management, jazz studies, music composition, music history, music therapy, and master's and bachelor's degrees.
The mission of the Conservatory of Music is: To offer its students the highest level of education and training in preparation for entry into diverse music and music-related fields. To foster and support excellence in teaching, scholarship, creativity, exploration and innovation within its faculty.
