Career. Following a self-released demo called Learning 2 Cook in 1995, she released her debut album Tidy in 1996, mixing rock, punk, pop, and hip-hop, along with her trademark spoken-word poetry. On that album, she rapped in three languages: English, Spanish, and French.

1 de mar. de 2010 · Calgarian singer-songwriter Kinnie Starr is back with her groove-oriented blend of lyrical acoustic rock for her fifth studio album, A Different Day.
Her latest offering, “A Different Day” (produced by Chin Injeti on Last Gang Records), focuses on the theme of love and the many directions it can take. The album delivers less signature hip-hop/trip-hop sounds and instead offers a stripped down, sometimes poppy sound with much guitar (acoustic and electric).
