Saturdee is a 1933 novel written and illustrated by Australian author Norman Lindsay. It is a humorous novel dealing with mischievous Australian schoolboys and schoolgirls. It forms part of a trilogy (together with Redheap and Halfway to Anywhere ). [1] The novel was adapted for television in 1986.

It's said to be "the famous novel about boys growing up" in Australia. Set in the 1920s? in a small country town, when boys are free to roam wild after school. The language is very dated and not easy reading, however the tale of first (and quite innocent) encounters with the other sex is illuminating.
