In addition to the returning members Zakk Wylde , Simon Phillips and Steve Lukather , three new musicians joined Sherinian: bass guitarist Billy Sheehan and guitarists Yngwie Malmsteen – with whom Sherinian had toured in 2001 – and Al Di Meola .
