War of Being is the fifth studio album by British progressive metal band Tesseract. The album was released on 15 September 2023 through Kscope. It was self-produced by the band and Peter Miles.
War of Being is a single-player VR sci-fi adventure with standard mode playability, based on the music and concept for TesseracT's 2023 full length album. 7 de feb. de 2024 · The War Of Being is a hugely complex concept piece telling the tale of characters Ex and El, crash-landed and stranded on ‘The Strangeland’. There are plans for the dark fantasy story to reach beyond just the music, as frontman Daniel Tompkins and bassist Amos Williams explain.
Encompassing a 40-minute documentary, a tie-in video game developed by Tompkins, and a novel-in-progress written by Williams, War of Being is TesseracT’s most ambitious work to date. Below, Williams delves into each track on the progressive metal tour de force.
