Bel Assis is Mo Foster's first album. He produced all the tracks, with engineering and mixing by Simon Smart. Bel Assis was originally released on Pete Van Hooke's fledgling MMC record label in 1988 and was subsequently remastered and re-released in 2003 by Angel Air Records.
…a collection of excellent instrumentals recorded back in 1987 and 1988, and includes the great talents of Rod Argent, Gary Moore and Simon Phillips and others to great effect. The music is varied from the atmospheric, enigmatic to the funkier and is a treat for fans of instrumental music.

Bel Assis is Mo Foster's first album. All tracks were produced by Mo, engineered and mixed by Simon Smart. Bel Assis was originally released on Pete Van Hooke's fledgling MMC label in 1988 and was subsequently remastered and re-released in 2003 on the Angel Air record label.
This music was recorded between October 1987 and January 1988 on 24-track analogue at 30 ips without noise reduction, and mixed to 2-track analogue using Dolby SR. Subsequent mastering to the 1610 format and PQ editing at EMI Abbey Road.

Rod Argent and Peter van Hooke add colour on keyboards in what is essentially a musical journey and, as Mo Foster confirms, using electronic/sequencing instrumentation in a more natural way.
