Greg Bertens. Profile: San Francisco based lead singer/guitarist with Film School. Greg Bertens introduction to music began, aged 10, when he started taking piano lessons. He kept this up for a couple of years playing lots of ragtime and classical music.
The band was formed in 1998 by lead singer Greg Bertens. Initially, the band only consisted of Bertens working with members of Fuck and Pavement when they released their debut album Brilliant Career, on MeToo! records in 2001.
During life in quarantine, Greg says, he became acutely aware of all the ways human beings try to avoid being truly present.
