Primeros años. Brown nació en Boston, Massachusetts, como uno de ocho hijos. Su madre Carole Elizabeth (nacida Williams) era maestra suplente y su padre, Herbert James Brown, era trabajador de la construcción. Brown creció en Roxbury's Orchard Park Projects.
28 de dic. de 2012 · The Atlantics were formed in January 1976 by bassist Bruce “B.” Wilkinson and guitarist Tom Hauck (who were students at Tufts University), singer Bobby Marron, lead guitarist Jeff Locke and drummer Boby Bear.
To complete the lineup Bruce recruited singer Bobby Marron, a friend from his hometown in New Jersey. The Atlantics played their first gigs in the spring of 1976 at The Rat in Kenmore Square and at a concert at Tufts University with Willy Alexander and Foxpass.
Bobby Marron spent a childhood auditioning for Broadway roles and T.V. commercials (he convinced America that Wonder Bread helped you grow 12 ways) and attended American University in Washington, D.C.
