Tower of Power. Lenny Pickett (born April 10, 1954) [1] is an American saxophonist and musical director of the Saturday Night Live band. From 1973 to 1981 he was a member of the band Tower of Power. Pickett has worked extensively as a session musician for a wide range of performers and genres.

The only recordings of tenor sarrusophone I've found so far are two CDs on which Lenny Pickett plays it: Jim Beard "Song of the Sun" (1991 CTI Records 847926-2). This CD is mainly light jazz by keyboardist Jim Beard, but includes Lenny Pickett on tenor sarrusophone on the first two tracks.
