Jörg Evers (* 21. Juni 1950 in Bayreuth; † 12. Februar 2023) war ein deutscher Gitarrist, Bassist, Komponist, Arrangeur und Musikproduzent.

Nacido en 1950 en Bayreuth, Jörg Evers es un compositor, letrista, arreglista, guitarrista, bajista y productor musical alemán. Jörg Evers estudió musicología en la Universidad Ludwig-Maximilians de Munich, así como orquestación y arreglos en el Conservatorio Richard Strauss.
Jörg Evers is a professor and staff scientist at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik (MPIK) in Heidelberg, Germany. He works on quantum dynamics and quantum electrodynamics, especially in the fields of X-ray spectroscopy, nuclear resonant scattering and quantum optics.

Evers was a composer, lyricist, arranger, guitarist, and music producer, working with such artists as Amon Düül II, Embryo, Peter Maffay Band, and The Pack.

15 de feb. de 2023 · Jorg was a tireless defender of the rights of music creators, and through his years of international activities and leadership at CIAM, and board activities at GEMA, was known the world over for his dedication to our community. He will be deeply missed by all of us.
