KYPCK (Volapuk rendition from Russian "Курск", "Kursk" in the Western Alphabet) is a Finnish doom metal band. They were formed in 2007 and sing entirely in Russian. The band is composed of singer Erkki Seppänen, ex-Sentenced members Sami Lopakka and Sami Kukkohovi (guitar), bassist Jaakko Ylä-Rautio, and drummer Antti Karihtala.

KYPCK (del ruso Курск, «Kursk» en el alfabeto cirílico) es una banda finlandesa de doom metal formada en 2007. Afirman de sí mismo que hacen “Fast Russian Doom Metal From Finland”. El vocalista Erkki Seppänen habla frecuentemente en ruso y ha trabajado en la embajada finlandesa de Moscú. [1]

The band's official name is Курск - not Kursk. "Kursk" is a transliteration to the Western alphabet. The name is written as Курск and pronounced "kursk".

KYPCK's crew features vocalist E. Seppänen, guitarists S. S. Lopakka and S. Kukkohovi (both formerly Sentenced), bassist J. T. Ylä-Rautio and drummer A.K. Karihtala.
