Midge Ure, nacido como James Ure (Cambuslang, Lanarkshire, 10 de octubre de 1953), es un músico escocés, un importante contribuyente del Live Aid y Live 8 y anterior líder de la banda de synth pop Ultravox.
James "Midge" Ure OBE (/ jʊər /; born 10 October 1953) is a Scottish musician, singer-songwriter and record producer. His stage name, Midge, is a phonetic reversal of Jim, a hypocorism of his given name.
A career that started in the 1970’s with Slik, Thin Lizzy and Rich Kids through to Visage and Ultravox, Solo hits and the historic Band Aid & Live Aid in the 80’s, Midge Ure has been a constant in the UK music scene.
