Stuart Alan King, aka "Stu Boy King", lost his battle to pancreatic cancer on May 1, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Deirdre King, his daughters Danielle, Jessica, Tyler, Melanie, and Shannon, as well as his grandson; whom he he loved so dearly; William, aka "Bubby".

The Dictators Go Girl Crazy! has been well-received critically and is considered a precursor to punk rock. In its retrospective review, AllMusic notes that while the album was confusing to audiences at the time of its release, it became inspirational for dozens of groups to follow. [4]
