MC Eiht (nacido como Aaron Tyler el 22 de mayo de 1971 en Compton, California) es uno de los pioneros del gangsta rap. Primeramente formó parte del grupo Compton's Most Wanted (CMW), para más tarde convertirse en actor y MC en solitario.

Though the crew and MC Eiht continued to improve in their respective fields after the release of this album, their raw talent was very much apparent throughout It’s A Compton Thang.
