On 3 December 2021, the Waterboys released another box set, The Magnificent Seven, containing archive live, studio and session recordings of the 1989–1990 Room to Roam band featuring Scott, Wickham, Bridgeman, Anthony Thistlethwaite, Trevor Hutchinson, Sharon Shannon and Colin Blakey.
In 1989, in Edinburgh, Colin Blakey gathered a group of 19 musicians together to make a record based on traditional music. The record was called The Roke and was originally released only on vinyl and cassette. It has recently been re-mastered.
Colin Blakey, is the group's songwriter and a key figure in the ensemble. These experiments resulted in the recording of an debut album in 2004 called "Breakfast In Balquhidder". All pieces on the album were composed by Colin Blakey and arranged, mixed, and mastered by Colin Blakey and Philippa Bull on Easdale Island, Argyll.

Colin. I’m a musician living in Taynuilt, Argyll, on the west coast of Scotland. I play guitar, bodhrán, gaita (Galician pipes), flute, tin whistle and keyboards. I’m a qualified music teacher and have developed my own method of teaching music theory. I’ve been playing music for over fifty years.
I’ve played with many other bands including: The Green Telescope (Edinburgh), Seixo (Galicia), John Bibby’s Dog (Shetland), I’ll Show Harry (Manchester), The Macaroon Ceilidh Band (Cumbria, England)
