Archery’s premier annual international circuit, the Hyundai Archery World Cup, returns for its 18th season in 2024, with three stages in Shanghai (China), Yecheon (Korea) and Antalya (Türkiye) between April and June, plus a grand final in Tlaxcala (Mexico) in October.

Archers practise and compete in various disciplines of the sport. The discipline used at the Olympic Games, the Paralympic Games, the World Archery Championships and the Archery World Cup is target archery, which is where archers shoot at stationary circular targets set at fixed distances.
Olympic archery comprises five events: two individual competitions for men and women, two team competitions (one each for men and women), and a mixed team competition, which returns to the programme after making its Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020.
